At Mamata Care Foundation, we believe education is the most powerful tool for transformation. In the communities we serve in Bhubaneswar and across Odisha, every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and dream big. Our Education initiative is rooted in that belief, and backed by action: we engage, empower and equip children and families so that education becomes a pathway out of adversity and into achievement.
Our Focus
- From early childhood to secondary schooling, we support children at every stage. We work with schools, local partners and families to:
- Provide learning support, including remedial classes, study materials, and mentorship, so children who have fallen behind can catch up.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment, where girls, children from marginalised backgrounds and those who face economic hardship are encouraged to participate fully.
- Strengthen life skills and foundational literacy & numeracy, ensuring students don’t just complete school—but thrive in school and beyond.
Significance
In many communities of Odisha, barriers such as poverty, lack of resources, and social constraints prevent children from staying in school or accessing quality learning. By addressing these obstacles, we aim to break the cycle of disadvantage. When children can read, reason, and reflect, they unlock their potential—and the doors to a brighter future open.

Our Approach
Community engagement: We collaborate with parents, teachers and local stakeholders to build a culture of education at home and in school.
Resource provision: From school supplies to digital aids, we bridge the gap between aspiration and access.
Empowerment through mentorship: Older students and volunteers serve as mentors, helping younger learners navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
Tracking impact: We monitor attendance, performance and progression to ensure our programmes lead to measurable improvement and sustained success.
